Hi, I'm Kelsey.
I've always been a very visual person. Growing up, art found its way into all my other classes. Presentations always seemed to be more about how I could visually communicate what I was presenting, and posters and PowerPoints turned into videos and interactive websites. After falling in love with my digital design class, I became editor of my high school yearbook and was given the freedom to design layout templates, something we were awarded for after it went to print. From there the projects just got bigger.
I moved to Chicago to pursue my degree in Graphic Design and Advertising. I focused on my love for typography and print design, and my passion for color theory. I moved back to Detroit to continue my career as a designer working within the print industry.
In 2021 I relocated to Austin, and have been working within the tech industry as a visual designer and creative director. I've had the pleasure of working on many websites, brands, and digital ad campaigns for various in-house and freelance clients.
I'm currently looking for a full-time role (remote or hybrid). I'd like to plant roots at a company where I can share my unique skills while continuing to grow in a team environment under a mentor.
